OK this band cannot be described as new or fresh any more but the time I did catch them live a few years back and they were very much worth the trip I made to see them.

These guys bring sharp cheeky tongue-in-cheek hip hop from the UK. The duo feature poet/rapper/lyricist Scroobius Pip (David Meads) and producer Dan Le Sac (Dan Stephens). Their music has a electronic/electro sound (Mmmm one my favorite kinds of hip hop) and gets very crunchy at times.
