Deadelus is on Ninja Tune records and resides in Los Angeles. He has also released material on Big Dada, Soul Jazz, Stones Throw and Warp among others so this should give you an idea where the music is headed. His sound meanders between many genres, though I would have to say he is at core electronica and you will find hip-hop, jazz, electro, downtempo. I have even heard him described as avant-electronic rave, a new one for me to be sure.
The gig is on in the newly relocated Smart Project Space. I’m not going to be able to make it to this gig but if you go be sure and let me know how it went.
