Jóhann Jóhannsson is a composer and producer from Reykjavík in Iceland and makes neo-classical ambient music that is evocative of icy Scandinavian landscapes. His 2006 album ‘IBM 1401 - A Users Manual’ featured heavily on my playlist and is one of the most interesting ambient albums that I have heard in some time. [...]
