Amsterdam Jam

We covered Deadelus last year when he played in the Smart Project Space. For those of you who missed the gig he’s back again this month to play at Ekko in Utrecht.

Deadelus is on Ninja Tune records and resides in Los Angeles. He has also released material on Big Dada, Soul Jazz, Stones Throw and Warp among others so this should give you an idea where the music is headed. With a background in Jazz his sound meanders between many genres. It is at core electronica but you will find hip-hop, electro, downtempo. I have even saw him described as avant-electronic rave.
