This morning when I was reading about the latest release from Bristol’s Joker I realized that that I had not yet written a recommendation for his upcoming gig. 19 year old Joker is on the Hyperdub label which should be enough of a clue to hint at the diversity and quality of his music.
For the past while he’s been shaking the beats scene up with his genre defying sound. As one could expect there are no videos from this guy but if you want to listen to some of his tunes the first three tracks in the Jam Selecta player are from Joker. You can also download one of this mixes here.
